Well, even with multiple moves within a 1 year period in the middle of breeding and egg laying season, I must say, I am very pleased with how this season has turned out! We've got lots of babies on the ground now from leopard geckos, to corn snakes, ball pythons, mandarin rat snakes and so much more! As we enter into the month of August, we begin to wind down the colubrid hatching season, and ramp up on Amazon tree boas, which is arguably the most exciting part of this year!
I'm expecting 5 litters of ATBs this year from various parings including:
WC Red X WC Bicolor "Hypo-ish"
Orange Bicolor X Yellow/Orange
Leopard X Tricolor het Calico
Red Calico X Bicolor Het Calico
Red Calico X Bicolor Tiger Het Calico
I was hoping for a Leo X Leo pairing to go this year, but alas, neither female Leopard cycled this season. So we will hope for next year, and be excited about some 100% hets that'll be coming this year! If you have been on the waitlist for ATBs, this month, I'll be reaching out with updates as litters hit the ground, and first meals begin to be taken. If you'd like to be added to the list - please email me through the contact page and let me know if you have a specific phenotype you're interested in, and provide your preferred contact method. As I go down the list, I'll be contacting people for their chance to secure an animal. I'll also be updating the section on my website with adult/breeder pics of ALL of the amazons here, as I actually have around 50 animals! LOL
Looking forward to the next updates with baby ATBs getting highlighted!
